Vice-President of Argentina Gabriela Michetti will sign GQUAL
We are happy to announce that the Vice-President of Argentina, Marta Gabriela Micetti, will join the GQUAL campaign today, August 5th at 4:00 pm at the Casa Rosada in Buenos Aires.
Gabriela Michetti holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations, and has extensive experience as a senator and as vice-chief of Government of the city of Buenos Aires. Her signing of the GQUAL declaration will be in conjunction with that of the Minister of Exterior Relations and Worship and candidate for UN Secretary General, Susana Malcorra, as well as with the signatures of The Minister of Public Property and Finances, Alfonso Prat Gay, the Minister of Tourism, Gustavo Santos, the Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Jorge Alberto Triaca, the Minister of Modernization, Andrés Ibarra, the Minister of Health, Jorge Lemus, the Minister of Culture, Pablo Avelluto, the Minister of Environmental and Sustainable Development, Sergio Bergman, the Minister of Communications, Oscar Aguad, and the President of the Women’s National Council, Fabiana Tuñez will all sign onto the GQUAL campaign as well. In addition, these signatures will be added onto the many other signatures of Argentines who work in the development of international law, human rights and international relations and who have helped carry on this campaign since its initial steps.
GQUAL welcomes all who are interested to join the campaign and support the search of mechanisms and standards by States, international organizations, tribunals and monitoring bodies, and to help in their promotion of selection processes that guarantee gender parity in international representation.
