Each\u00a0Treaty body\u2014\u2014examples of which include the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR) or the Human Rights Committee (HRCttee<strong>)\u2014<\/strong>is composed of independent experts of recognized compe\u00adtence in human rights, who are nominated and elected for fixed, renewable terms of four years by State parties. Additionally, the page also includes nomination criteria and rules. Moreover, webpages like this one are useful when working with states to take gender parity into consideration prior to a nomination cycle and with International bodies during election periods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><br \/>\nCheck out the link to see what\u2019s coming up.
